Je vis actuellement \u00e0 Immensee, dans le canton de Schwytz, avec ma femme et notre fils de trois ans qui nous tient bien occup\u00e9s! Le contact avec tant de cultures m\u2019a profond\u00e9ment marqu\u00e9, aussi bien personnellement que du point de vue professionnel, et a en particulier nourri ma passion pour la diversit\u00e9, l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 et l\u2019int\u00e9gration au travail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je suis actuellement directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Merck Suisse et du Swiss Country Council (organe des managers de sites) qui est responsable de plus de 2600\u00a0employ\u00e9-e-s sur neuf sites. J\u2019ai pris ces fonctions en 2022 et je travaille chez Merck depuis plus de dix ans \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents postes de direction commerciale \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelon local et mondial. Auparavant, j\u2019avais commenc\u00e9 ma carri\u00e8re chez Pfizer et McKinsey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-quel-accent-souhaitez-vous-mettre-en-tant-que-membre-du-board-d-interpharma\"><strong>Quel accent souhaitez-vous mettre en tant que membre du Board d\u2019Interpharma?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En tant que membre du Board d\u2019Interpharma, je pense que pour d\u00e9velopper en Suisse un syst\u00e8me de sant\u00e9 p\u00e9renne et orient\u00e9 vers l\u2019avenir, la coop\u00e9ration avec tous les groupes d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eats de diff\u00e9rents secteurs est indispensable. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019encourager le dialogue et la coop\u00e9ration entre divers acteurs comme l\u2019industrie, les fournisseurs de prestations du syst\u00e8me de sant\u00e9, les d\u00e9cideurs politiques et les repr\u00e9sentants de patient-e-s. Ensemble, nous pouvons travailler \u00e0 des solutions et strat\u00e9gies innovantes qui b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient au syst\u00e8me de sant\u00e9 et assurent sa p\u00e9rennit\u00e9 et sa capacit\u00e9 de r\u00e9action aux transformations des besoins des patient-e-s et de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Premi\u00e8rement, notre objectif primordial est d\u2019assurer l\u2019acc\u00e8s rapide et \u00e0 \u00e9galit\u00e9 de toutes les patientes et tous les patients aux traitements les plus modernes. Pour moi, c\u2019est un droit fondamental et nous devons travailler ensemble \u00e0 \u00e9liminer les obstacles qui emp\u00eachent l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux soins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deuxi\u00e8mement, l\u2019utilisation de solutions num\u00e9riques et l\u2019analyse de donn\u00e9es est \u00e9galement une th\u00e9matique importante que nous poursuivons. Le potentiel de transformation du paysage de la sant\u00e9 par la technologie est \u00e9norme. Chez Merck, nous d\u00e9veloppons de nouvelles solutions de sant\u00e9 num\u00e9riques qui aident le patient dans son cheminement. Il s\u2019agit de bien plus que du traitement, il s\u2019agit de comprendre comment les patient-e-s vivent avec une maladie et de trouver des solutions qui d\u00e9passent le seul comprim\u00e9. Un exemple en est la fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 au traitement. Des dispositifs m\u00e9dicaux num\u00e9riques permettent aux patient-e-s et au personnel soignant de surveiller et administrer les traitements et ont grandement contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l\u2019efficacit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Troisi\u00e8mement, des relations stables avec l\u2019Union europ\u00e9enne. En tant qu\u2019entreprise scientifique et technologique mondiale avec six sites de production en Suisse et un volume d\u2019exportations de quelque six milliards d\u2019euros vers plus de 140 pays, il est d\u00e9cisif pour l\u2019industrie pharmaceutique en Suisse que la voie bilat\u00e9rale se poursuive. La Suisse doit rester concurrentielle et il est important d\u2019assurer l\u2019acc\u00e8s direct au march\u00e9 de l\u2019UE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Quelle importance rev\u00eat la place pharmaceutique suisse pour votre entreprise? Comment la nation pharmaceutique qu\u2019est la Suisse peut-elle encore s\u2019am\u00e9liorer, que faut-il faire au niveau des conditions cadres? <\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour Merck, dont le si\u00e8ge est \u00e0 Darmstadt (Allemagne), la Suisse est un march\u00e9 strat\u00e9gique et une plaque tournante importante vers les march\u00e9s internationaux. Merck a une position solide en Suisse depuis 1929. Actuellement, la Suisse est une place de recherche et d\u00e9veloppement importante et la principale plaque tournante du groupe Merck pour le d\u00e9veloppement et la fabrication de m\u00e9dicaments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au-del\u00e0 de Merck, le r\u00f4le de la Suisse en tant que centre pharmaceutique de l\u2019ensemble de la branche est d\u00e9cisif. Le secteur g\u00e9n\u00e8re plus de 5% du PIB de la Suisse et emploie plus de 46&nbsp;000 personnes. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me robuste qui comprend des universit\u00e9s de pointe, des entreprises multinationales et des start-up innovantes, elle est un site id\u00e9al pour le recrutement de talents et l\u2019innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais des d\u00e9fis comme les relations tendues avec l\u2019UE, l\u2019augmentation des co\u00fbts de sant\u00e9 ou la lenteur de la transformation num\u00e9rique mettent en danger la position de la Suisse. Il faut qu\u2019elle rattrape son retard de transformation num\u00e9rique pour ne pas perdre son avantage concurrentiel. Un \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me de donn\u00e9es coh\u00e9rent, avec un cadre l\u00e9gal solide et la coop\u00e9ration de tous les acteurs impliqu\u00e9s, est indispensable pour continuer d\u2019avancer. La Suisse doit s\u2019efforcer d\u2019\u00eatre un leader dans ce domaine pour sauvegarder son avenir de place de recherche et d\u2019innovation pharmaceutique phare.
